Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch photo tour

Disneyland Paris is currently updating all Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch cabins with brand new models featuring two bathrooms with shower, flat screen tv and air conditioning.

Last year a bunch of fans were invited by the Disneyland Paris Corporate Communications office for a tour of these new cabins. Photos Magiques was invited too and we came back very satisfied about these new cabins. Take the photo tour with us:

Photo of the week: Sleeping Beauty Castle

Sleeping Beauty Castle, or Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant, is lit up for the Disney’s Halloween Party on 31 October.

By using a long exposure, a washed-out look is created because of the moving cloud projections on the Castle walls. On top of that, the green lights from the sides add to even more spookiness.

Photo of the week: Crockett Road by night

This particular photo was taken from the Winnie the Pooh character meet ‘n’ greet location. It shows all the different façades that house Casey’s Corner.

The street leading from Main Street, U.S.A. is actually called Crockett Road and gives access to Frontierland, either by a covered walkway ending at The Lucky Nugget Saloon or by a winding path between trees and planters leading to Fort Comstock at the entrance of the land.

Disney’s Enchanted Christmas 2012 launch: photo coverage

Past weekend was the official launch of Disney’s Enchanted Christmas season and the French première of Wreck-it Ralph. As part of this “press weekend”, Disneyland Paris invited children with life-threatening medical conditions from all over Europe. They were given a VIP-treatment during the entire weekend with special acts, work shops, meet ‘n’ greets with Disney characters and much more!

Journey with us through our photo coverage of past weekend: from the new decorations on Main Street, U.S.A. to the Christmas Wishes press show!

Individual photo albums will follow shortly!

Photo of the week: Phantom Manor meets Tower of Terror

There are only a few places in Disneyland Paris where you can get a photo like this, and most of them are not accessible for guests. Luckily the Legends of the Wild West walk-through offers this stunning view of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror looming behind another run-down building: Phantom Manor.

Different parks, different styles, yet the same eerie look and feel.

Panoramagique: Halloween in Frontierland

We’re starting a brand new series on the Photos Magiques blog: Panoramagique. From time to time there will be blog posts with a panorama photo of a Disneyland Paris area which can be panned, zoomed in and out, etc.

First Panoramique is Halloween in Frontierland. Pumpkin Men have taken over the “Popcorn Stage” area between The Lucky Nugget Saloon and Thunder Mesa Mercantile Building.

Would you like to see more of these? If so, of which areas in the resort? Share your suggestions with the comment box below the panorama photo!
