Last week was the highlight of Disney’s Halloween Festival: the Halloween Party, also dubbed the Soiree.
Most entertainment was similar to last year’s however this year a special night version of the Mickey’s Halloween Celebration cavalcade was performed and a group of ultra-rare Disney characters was send out into the parks to meet guests.

Check out this photo from exactly 10 years ago when Bride and Groom skeletons were placed in front of Phantom Manor during the Halloween Season of 2003.
“Who robbed the bank?” was a streetmosphere-type show in Frontierland during Disney’s Halloween Festival in 2004. It featured stunt men as bank robbers jumping over the rooftops of Fuente del Oro Restaurante. The show used lots of slapstick humor and didn’t use spoken dialog, instead the main characters held up signs with words. There was lots of running back and forward, falling of the roof tops and ladders tipping over.
A stunt show featuring Zorro took place at the same location in 1993.
The Phantom Wedding was a projection mapping show on Phantom Manor during Disney’s Halloween Party on 31 October 2004. The entire building was covered with white fabric to allow a good image.
The show told the story of Phantom Manor using still and video images, 3D animations and live dancers. It was very well received among fans, though it didn’t return for the Halloween Parties the years after.
The Phantom Wedding was developped by the same company that did the The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror opening and was also consulted during the creation of Disney Dreams.
Minnie’s Costume Couture is a photo location with Minnie Mouse, designed to resemble a costume workshop. Props like a sewing machine, baskets, mirror, … have all been “toonified”.
It’s located across Casey’s Corner at the old Mickey Mouse photo location, but it’s located on ground level to accommodate wheel chair users as well.
In 2007 a brand new show was introduced for the Halloween Season: The Disney Villains Halloween Showtime, starring Minnie Mouse, Stitch, Maleficent and the Disney Villains.
This show was quite popular among the fans and kept returning every Halloween season until 2011 when the stage was removed in front of Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant.
