Little is known about the Wood Carver’s Workshop in the Cottonwood Creek Ranch area of Frontierland. An old “Euro Disneyland” souvenirbook describes it likes this: “Watch the skilled woodcarver as he carefully chips and whittles hunks of wood into lifelike wooden figures. It’s the perfect souvenir of your visit to Cottonwood Creek Ranch”.
This shop was likely one of the first to close when the Euro Disneyland project failed to meet its initial financial targets. Over the course of time the small wooden kiosk has been used for special occasions only like Halloween and most recently as Santa’s Post Office during the Christmas Season. In 2009 it briefly re-opened as a small souvenir shop.
