Critter Corral was a petting zoo near Frontierland Depot. Guests were able to get close and interact with all kinds of farm animals like cows, horses, goats, chickens, rabbits and more! Most critters used to roam free in the area when Disneyland Park opened in 1992, but strict French laws forced management to build enclosures for all animals.

After the winter closure of 2006 the animals didn’t return and soon construction began for the Woody’s Roundup Village meet ‘n’ greet area which opened in July 2007 and lasted for a couple of years. During winters the area would serve as Santa’s Christmas Village and during special seasonal events like Saint Patricks Day and Easter.

In 2015 large parts of the former Critter Corral stalls were demolished or rebuild to make way for the Arendelle Market Place as part of Frozen Summer Fun.

Trivia

There used to be a petting zoo at Disney’s Davy Crockett but like Critter Corral, it has disappeared.
